Houston Rockets coach Ime Udoka's theory about duplicate skillsets is dispelled by the New York Knicks' impressive performance in the NBA Finals. The Knicks are loaded with wings, including OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges, who are both All-Defensive players and standout outside shooters. They've made life difficult for Spurs all-world center Victor Wembanyama as defenders and made timely baskets on the other end. In contrast, the Rockets' duplicate wings, such as Jae'Sean Tate and Dorian Finney-Smith, can't shoot. They're non-shooters who take up valuable roster space. The Rockets' issue is that they can't shoot from deep, which is why they're struggling in the playoffs. The Knicks, on the other hand, are in the driver's seat during the Finals thanks to their ability to shoot from deep.
